Paolo Ventura's channel

Sets and costumes were created by photographer Paolo Ventura who for over two years worked on numerous sketches of landscapes and costumes for the characters in the opera Pagliacci, Ruggero Leoncavallo’s masterpiece. The opera is in Turin, 125 years after its premiere. The direction is signed by Gabriele Lavia, actor and director among the most representative of the last decades of the Italian theatre. Nicola Luisotti is conducting at the Regio the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro.
