From April 10th to 14th, FLAT // LAND Gallery will participate in the 13th edition of MIA Photo, Italy’s most renowned photography fair. Together with Miart, Italy’s largest contemporary art fair, this year’s edition of MIA Photo will take place at the Allianz MiCo, a monumental venue in Milan with more than 50,000 metres of exhibition space.
Under the artistic direction of the art advisor Francesca Malgara, known as a nominator for the famous photography award Prix Pictet, and with the contribution of a cutting-edge curatorial team, the 13th edition promises a complete renewal of MIA Photo, centred around the theme “Changing”.
Invited to contribute to MIA Photo’s section “Reportage Beyond Reportage”, FLAT // LAND is closely collaborating with the distinguished curator Emanuela Mazzonis, known as the editor of various Pinault Collection’s catalogues such as “The François Pinault Collection, A Post-Pop Selection” (2006) and “Sequence I: Painting and Sculpture from the François Pinault Collection” (2008).
Amongst other exciting news (coming soon), FLAT // LAND is proud to present for the first time the artist Daniëlle van Ark.
