...As the Greek artist Jannis Kounellis felt, in the country of animals there is no lies, money or fraud.
In this preview the artists will show work that challenge conventions especially at the level of human carelessness and coherence of things. The search is for poetic memorial elements; to find something we have lost forever and to grasp completely the true absurdity of everything that happens around us.
The gallery is honoured to present for the first time work by the Dutch conceptual artist Daniëlle van Ark who explores the opaque systems of value creation and social status in an era where everything appears reproducible and ephemeral.

Making ethology - the scientific study of the behaviour of animals - the central subject, FLAT // LAND explores how environments are central to the survival of the fauna and how 'blurred' boundaries between humans and nature are.
