As Paris Photo will take place in the beginning of November, FLAT // LAND proposes to host a preview of the Paris Photo Presentation on Saturday 28th of October in Amsterdam Zuid. FLAT // LAND TURNS A PAGE - ETHOLOGY
With the new project 'openness' at Paris Photo 23, FLAT LAND is showing it has turned an important page. The gallery is purposing to place the dialogue between humankind and other species on this earth at the heart of every discussion.
By showing how multiple universes are surrounding us simultaneously, FLAT LAND moves its focus from humankind towards the animal kingdom. From 2023 this will be the new focus of the gallery.
Making ethology - the scientific study of the behaviour of animals in their normal environment - a central subject, FLAT // LAND explores how environments
are central to the survival of the fauna and how 'blurred' boundaries between humans and nature are.
Amoung artists that shall be presented are Kim Boske, Charlotte Dumas, Leila Jeffreys and Vincent Munier.
